Petronas Culture Maturity Survey Results 2023
The 2023 Petronas Culture Maturity Survey (CMS) shows an overall positive trend with a participation rate of 162% and an average CMS score of 4.14 for HRSB and 4.15 for PD&T Partners, indicating a proactive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) culture. The highest scores were in HSE Communication (4.57), Lessons Learnt (4.48, 4.45), and HSE Matters (4.46, 4.34), highlighting effective communication, learning from incidents, and discussion of HSE issues. The lowest scores were in Consequence Management (3.61, 3.97), Recognition (3.84, 3.95), and Procedures (3.90, 4.05), pointing to areas needing improvement in handling non-compliance, recognizing safety behaviors, and using HSE procedures.
The GSC Maturity Level Ranking of HRSB FY2023
The GSC maturity level ranking for HRSB in FY2023 shows an overall improvement from a previous score of 3.49 to 3.65, with verification audit increasing from 70% to 73%. The maturity status is predominantly Calculative, with individual business units (BUs) like IB, PC, and HS achieving a Generative status with the highest scores (4.96, 4.84, 4.78). Several BUs such as DB, BLT, SC, and IC remain Reactive, indicating areas requiring significant improvement. Overall, the trend is positive, with several BUs moving up in their maturity status.
